The Pacesetters Club, Oke-Ila Orangun has sent a congratulatory message to Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina on his recent appointment as the Osun State Head of Service.
Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke through his Spokesperson,
Mallam Olawale Rasheed announced Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina as the new Head of Service.
According to a statement made available by the governor’s Spokesperson, “Mr. Aina attended the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, between 1984 and 1987 and between 1988 and 1990 where he obtained B.Sc. Hon (2nd Class Upper Division) and M.Sc degrees in Geography in 1987 and 1990 respectively.
“He, was, by divine providence, dint of hard work, determination and without any external force, appointed a Permanent Secretary in Osun State in 2012, through a rigorous selection process and was deployed to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning & Budget where he served till 2013.
“He was later deployed to serve as the Permanent Secretary of the new Ministry of Finance following the creation of the Office of Budget and Economic Development from the former Ministry in 2013. He served in the Ministry of Finance till 2016.
“Arising from his tested capacity and ability, he was deployed as Permanent Secretary in charge of two critical agencies – Ministry of Human Resources and Capacity Building and the Public Service Office in the Office of the Head of Service, Osun State in 2016. He has been coordinating the affairs of the two Agencies since 2016 (until the new appointment) without blemish.
“He has served in several capacities within and outside international and national organisations.
“A community activist as a former President of Pacesetters Club, Oke Ila Orangun, Mr Aina is married to Dr. Mrs. Mojisola Aina, a union that is divinely blessed.”
Earlier, The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Alayeluwa Oba Adedokun Abolarin in his congratulatory message said “It’s no surprise that someone as exceptional as Ayanleye has received a new appointment as the Head of Service. He is a rare asset, worthy of this advancement and many more in the years ahead. Congratulations to him on this new position. He has always been a force to be reckoned with, and in this new role, he’ll truly be formidable.
“Imagine a son of a drummer, Baale Onilu, becoming Osun State Head of Service! I am glad. His father served our community well and today here is Ayanleye being honoured by all and sundry. I feel good” Kabiesi Abolarin stressed.
The current President of the Pacesetters Club, Oke-Ila Orangun, Bishop Felix Owolabi described Elder Aina as a man of honour and a leading light who served selflessly and meritoriously for 30 years (1990-2020) as a pioneer President of the Club.
“Your achievements never cease to amaze me. This new appointment is remarkable: an honour and a testament to your worth. Congratulations on the new role, it suits you perfectly.
“I also congratulate the members of our Club in particular and the entire good community of Oke-Ila Orangun at large”. Owolabi concluded.
Meanwhile, the Club PRO, Elder Adesayo Agbolade who was full of joy said “a noteworthy achievement like this calls for celebration. His accomplishment is the culmination of his efforts, and I raise my glass in his honor.”
