The PDP Senatorial Candidate for Osun Central in the 2023 general elections, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, on Sunday donated one patrol vehicle to Nigeria Police to further strengthen the security of lives and properties of people of the state.
The Tayese II of Ifetedo Kingdom, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi handed over the vehicle to The Paramount Ruler of Igbomina Kingdom, Alayeluwa Oba Wahab Oyedotun, The Orangun of Ila, who later presented the vehicle to the DPOs A and B Divisions of the Nigeria Police.
Fadeyi through his representative, Hon. Tunde Badmus explained that the donation was part of the commitment of the politician towards providing the needed supports for all security agencies operating in the state at large.
According to him, The newly elected Governor of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Adeleke and all the PDP political office holders will place a premium on the dignity of human lives and this is evident in what Ajagunla Fadeyi has begun.
“Today, it is my pleasure to donate and hand over this Patrol vehicle to security agency operating in Ila-Orangun and environ toward boosting the capacity of our men in the line of duty of crime fighting.
“In doing this, the Police is better equipped and strengthened to carry out their constitutional duties of protecting lives and properties and combating acts of criminality in our dear State.” Fadeyi stressed.
“Let me emphasis that few days ago, I met with the leadership of Ila-Orangun Parapo, a socio-cultural group, through its President, High Chief Paul Ogunrinade requested for patrol vehicles for security agencies and I promised to donate one. This is just the beginning of better things to come to us in Ila-Orangun in particular and Osun State at large. We will do more!
Ajagunla concluded.
The leader of the party, Hon. Kolapo Lawal said the PDP has vowed to smoke out all criminals in the state from their hidings and make the state uncomfortable for them.
The Director General of Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi Campaign Team and former Osun State Commissioner of Agriculture, Hon. Akin Titiloye expressed his heart of gratitude to Kabiesi Orangun Oyedotun, his chiefs and the entire good people of Ila-Orangun community for voting Sen. Ademola Adeleke as Osun State Governor and passionately appeal to them to do more by voting for Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi as Senator, Osun Central, Hon. Clement Akanni Olohunwa to represent Ila/Ifedayo/Boluwaduro Federal Constituency and Alhaji Sikiru Bajepade for Ila State Constituency in 2023 general elections.
