Prof. David Adewuyi Kégbejo had joyfully joined thousands of Chief Adebisi Bamdele Akande’s admirers and well wishers in congratulating him on the well deserved honour bestowed on him by the federal government of Nigeria.
The Federal Government of Nigeria announced the recipients of the 2023 national awards on Sunday, May 28. A total number of 339 distinguished Nigerians and friends of Nigeria have been nominated by the Federal Government to receive national honours and Chief Bisi Akande is nominated to receive an enviable award of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, CFR.
In his words, Adewuyi said “Your hard work inspires me, your determination motivates me and your success makes me so happy. Congratulations on the results of all your hard work and dedication.
Your success is proof that being yourself and doing your best can take you all the way to the top.
In conclusion, Prof. Adewuyi admonished the youths of today to borrow a leaf from this distinguished Man of honour. He said Chief Bisi Akande, CFR, puts the extra in extraordinary. Every time he hits a wall, he climbs it. The hard days made him stronger, and the good days got him further. Through it all, he showed up with a smile on his face. Baba Akande deserves all the awards in this world! He stressed.
