ALHAJI (DHIKRULLAH) SIKIRU AKINLOYE BAJEPADE aka SIKBAJ
Alhaji Sikiru Bajepade is a Consummate Entrepreneur. The zeal and passion he has for the development of his home town, Ila-Orangun made him close his businesses in Ibadan in the early 90s and relocated to the town. Bajepade is the Chairman and Managing Director of SIKBAJ Nig. Ltd. (SIKBAJ Bottle a Satchet Water).
He is a graduate of University of Uyo, Ila-Orangun Campus. A former Chairman of Commuinty Development Council in Ila-Orangun.
ISIAKA OLAREWAJU, Ph.D
Dr. Isiaka Olarewaju, a product of Ila Grammar School, Ila-Orangun, retired as a Director at National Bureau of Statistics, Abuja on September 23, 2019.
He studied Experimental Design at the then University of Ife (now OAU), Ile-Ife . He went further to study Statistics and Computing at University of Lagos (1991) and Demography and Social Statistics at University of Southampton (1993) and bagged his PhD in 2017.
Olarewaju started Mathematics Competition and scholarship awards for primary and secondary schools’ students in 1979 and till date he is passionately sponsoring the programme within Ila Local Government. He is also the sponsor of Dr. Isiaka Olarewaju Mathematical Centre at Igbomina Today Resource Centre, Ila-Orangun and an award recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Igbomina Role Model Award by Igbomina Today.
Dr. Isiaka Olarewaju popularly known as Maths and Mackerel, serves as The Senior Special Assistant (Strategy and Planning) to the Governor of Osun State.
DR. KUNLE MUSBAUDEEN OPARINDE
Dr. Kunle Oparinde, a University don, bagged his PhD at age 27 at Durban University of Technology, South Africa.
He is a product of Al-Huda College, Ila-Orangun and University of Ilorin.
DR. GEORGE OLAYINKA OWOLABI
Dr. Olayinka Owolabi is a reputable Chief Medical Director of Olayoonu Medical Centre, Ogbomoso. He is also the current Chairman of Governing Council of Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun.
BARR. OLUFEMI OTITOOLA
Barr. Olufemi Otitoola, principal partner Kings’ Royal Attorneys. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University.
OMOOBA KUNLE AYANTOYE aka ARIWODOLA
Hon. Ayantoye is a Prince of Asaooni of Ora Igbomina. He was a successful business man before he joined partisan politics about two decades ago.
Omooba Ayantoye was once a Chairman of Ifedayo Local Government, Chairman of ALGON Osun State chapter and Deputy Chairman of ALGON at national level.
Ayantoye is currently serving as a member of Board, Civil Service Commission, Osun State.
HON. DR. OBAWALE ADEBISI
Dr. Obawale Adebisi was a former university don, an erudite scholar and a Prince of Arutu Oluokun Ruling House, Ila-Orangun.
He was a former Commissioner of Home Affairs in Osun State; a former Supervisor of Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the incumbent Commissioner of Culture and Tourism.
He bagged his Ph.D in Management Science from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
HON. SAMUEL IDOWU ABIODUN
The incumbent Chairman of Ifedayo Local Government and Chairman of Chairmen of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, (ALGON), Hon. Idowu Abiodun, was a distinguished member of Osun State House of Assembly, 2011- 2015.
Hon. Abiodun hails from Oke-Ila Orangun in Ifedayo Local Government.
In 2019, he was unanimously nominated as the Distinguished Igbomina Local Government Administrator of the Year.
HON. ISMAILA KOLAWOLE,
Kolawole bagged BSc. degree in Political Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye (1995) and MSc. Public Administration from the Premier University, Ibadan in 1999.
Hon. Ismaila Kolawole was Private Secretary to former Governor of Osun State and The Asiwaju of Ila, Chief (Dr.) Bisi Akande; a former member of Osun State House of Assembly; a former member of National Assembly who represented Ila/Ifedayo/Boluwaduro Federal Constituency and now the Commissioner 1, at Osun State House of Assembly.
Kolawole hails from Ila-Orangun.
AJAGUNLA OLUBIYI FADEYI
Olubiyi, direct son of Laisi Fadeyi of Ilé Èrán, Oke-Ede Ila-Orangun, holds B.A. (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) in International Business Law. An alumnus of Harvard Law School and London School of Economics (LSE).
He is the Chairman of Ajagunla Foundation and Harvard Continental Hotel, Ile-Ife.
Recently, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi was installed as the Tayese II of Ifetedo Kingdom.
HON. OLUFEMI FAKEYE
Hon. Olufemi Fakeye was elected to represent Ila/Ifedayo/Boluwaduro Federal Constituency in 2011, 2015 and 2019 for the third time.
Fakeye attended School of Agriculture, Akure (1971); he later had his BSc. in Agriculture from Berea College, Berea, Kentucky, USA (1975) and Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Marketing from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA (1977).
He is from Ila-Orangun.
HON. CLEMENT AKANNI
Akanni is a retired para-military officer and former member of Osun State House of Assembly, he represented Ila State Constituency.
He was appointed as Director, Oodua Group of Companies and later in 2013 as Commissioner 1 Osun State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB),
HON. CHIEF ADENIKE ABIOYE
Hon. Elizabeth Adenike Abioye hails from Ora Igbomina and she is currently representing Ifedayo State Constituency at Osun State House of Assembly. She is married to Engr. Abioye, a renowned philanthropist .
HON. CHIEF DR. OLUSEGUN DUROTOLU, LL.B, BL, LL.M, MSc., Ph.D
Durotolu obtained LLB (Hons) from University of Lagos in 1991 and LLM from Obafemi Awoĺowo University Ile-Ife in 2000
He has worked as Chairman, Ila Local Government (2008-2011). Member of Osun State Economic Planning Commission (2009-2010); Facilitator in Law at National Open University of Nigeria Osogbo Study Centre 2012 to date; Chairman/CEO Centre for Research on African Law and Philosophy ,1998 to date ; State Counsel Osun State Ministry of Justice (1992-1993) and he earlier taught at Ajagunla High School, Ila-Orangun
HON. (DR.) FUNMILAYO AKANDE–MOHAMMED
Hon. (Dr.) Funmilayo Akande-Mohammed popularly known as Iyalaya, is the sitting Chairman of Apapa Iganmu LCDA, Lagos. She was elected Chairman of the LCDA in 2019 and also in 2021.
Hon. Funmilayo was installed Erelu Bobakeye of Ila-Orangun in 2019 and recently the Yeye Bobaselu of Ojora Kingdom.
HON. LATEEF ADEBISI JAYEOLA aka BISI JAY
Jayeola attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan for his OND programme and University of Ilorin where he studied Educational Management/Economics in 1992.
1n 2003, Bisi Jay was elected as the Chairman, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association, IPMAN, Ore Depot while in 2015, he was appointed as a member of Board of Osun State Property Development Corporation and Chairman Committee of Works at OSPDC.
Presently, he is a member of Osun State House of Assembly representing Ila State Constituency.
BARR. DOTUN OYENIYI
Dotun Oyeniyi is an author and a writer who uses his compelling and gripping writings to convey potent messages about development, governance, equality, human rights and sociopolitical issues.
He is a UK based practising lawyer and currently does voluntary work for the United Nations Commision on Human Rights.

HON. CHIEF (MRS.) FUNMILAYO OLASEINDE
One of the amazons of Igbominaland and an ‘Iron Lady’ in politics is Yeye Otunba, Hon. Funmilayo Olaseinde. She was a former Chairman of Ifedayo Local Government and a former member of Osun State House of Assembly. She is known for her people-centred-projects especially The Kebimapalu Cooperative Society she set up to assist artisans financially.
MR. BIMBO BOLARINWA
Mr. Bimbo Bolarinwa aka Oba of London is a grandson of Alayeluwa Oba Williams Adetona Ayeni (Orangun of Ila, 1967-1999).
Bimbo graduated from College High School, Ila-Orangun and later studied Business Management at University of Northampton in the United Kingdom.
He is currently the Chief Executive Office and Founder at Dosamac Nigeria Limited.
DAVID OPEYEMI OYE-OKE
This vibrant, courageous, articulate and brilliant Opeyemi Oye-Oke is the youngest of all the political gladiators in the two Local Governments.
Opeyemi said he joined politics in order to bring a clearer development to thepeople of Ila Local Government. He has served as the Director General of the fastest growing City Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, a business community that represents the interests of over 90,000 businesses, employing over 75,000 people across Badagry Division of Lagos State.
David Opeyemi Oye-Oke is the current Chief Executive of Diaspora African Chamber of commerce.
