The PDP Senatorial Candidate, Osun Central, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi has sent a message of congratulations to all fathers in Osun Central Senatorial District in particular and Osun State at large on the occasion of the 2022 World Father’s Day Celebration.

Fadeyi in a statement through The Coordinator of Team Ajagunla, Ms Naimot Adebayo made available to Igbomina Today Magazine rejoiced with all fathers and fathers-to-be and wished them a very happy Father’s Day Celebration.

The 2023 PDP Senatorial Candidate for Osun Central, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, said the roles of a father in the family and community at large cannot be overemphasized.

“Usually, a mother’s love is talked about everywhere, but acknowledging the strength of a father often goes unnoticed. Having parents is a blessing in life. Both have equal importance. The father is the one who is the head of the family and also the role model for most of the kids. He is the one on whom the whole family can rely. Children consider their father as a hero who teaches them about good or evil.

“A father is a boy’s first superhero and a girl’s first love. They are the superheroes with whom every child falls in love with. The reason behind the same is that fathers are the ones who are there to catch you when you fall, influence your life, provide you comfort and support and whatnot.” Fadeyi stressed.

It is believed that Father’s Day was first celebrated in America, in the year 1910. Since then, about 111 countries in the world celebrate Father’s Day, every third Sunday in June.

In conclusion, Ajagunla Fadeyi advised all men to be role models and dependable fathers to their children as well as responsible husbands, peaceful and contribute positively to the growth and development of their communities.
He also took the advantage of today’s celebration to appeal to the good people of Osun State to cast their votes for Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke in the forth coming July 16, gubernatorial election.
