Prince Adelani Adeoye aka Adlad clocked 70 on November 15, 2022 but the family, friends and well wishers gathered for celebration on Sunday, November 20 at Royal Intercontinental Hotel, Osogbo to felicitate with him.
A former Governor of Osun State, Omooba Olagunsoye Asola Oyinlola who was also the Chairman of the occasion congratulated the celebrant, Prince Adelani Adeoye on his 70th birthday and pointed out that he didn’t know that the difference in age between him and Prince Adeoye is less than two years.
In his Chairman’s address, Prince Oyinlola described Adlad as a wise and prudent businessman, who had set enviable legacies with his truthfulness, integrity and outstanding services to his place of birth, Ila-Orangun and Osun State at large.
Oyinlola commended him for his notable contributions to the growth and development of the state and the advancement of human capital among others.
According to the Chairman of RAVE FM , Prince Dr. Femi Adefila, the celebrant deserves all the accolades as he turns three scores and 10. His selfless service to the state as well as his many accomplishments in personal and public life readily come to mind as he celebrates his 70th birth anniversary.
“One would wonder how Prince Adelani Adeoye managed to be a friend to all the Chief Executives of the state from the first Executive Governor, Sen. Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke to Anthony Udofia, to Col. Theophilus Adedapo Bamigboye (Rtd.), to Chief Adebisi Bamdele Akande, to Omooba Olagunsoye Asola Oyinlola, to Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, to Mr. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola and now the Governor-elect, Sen. Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke.
“Prince Adlad, you have played significant roles in the growth and development of the state through your entrepreneurial services as a dependable ally and forthrightness and we cannot thank you enough for your sublime contributions and achievements,” Adefila stressed.
In her own comments, the representative of the family, her sister, Mrs Mojibola said “Over the years, you have devoted yourself to the course of peace and development of our entire family. For this, we owe you an enduring debt of gratitude.
His wife, Mrs Simbiat Atinuke Adeoye who described him as a strong willed man further said “It is with great pleasure that I and our children join the extended family, friends and well-wishers in thanking Almighty God for His continued mercy, protection and provision for you in the past 70 years.
“As you celebrate this day, it is my prayer and those of our children that God will imbue you with exceptional wisdom and other necessary elements of strength to accomplish good successes in all your future endeavours.
“It is also my prayer that our Lord will continue to bless you with good health and grant you more years of greater service to our God and humanity.” She concluded.
Prince Adelani Adeoye is a vibrant, glamorous and immensely talented. He is a strong willed man, who with sheer determinations and entrepreneurial zest steered his industrial ship out of very stormy waters and transformed it into the giant that it is today.
There is no short-cut to the kind of success that matters, hard work coupled with high moral standard are what young Prince Adelani Adeoye, born to the family of Adeoye in the year 1952, during the reign of Agboluaje II in Ila Orangun. At his prime age, he attended Baptist Primary School Ila-Orangun, later to Ila Grammar School from where he crossed to C.A.C. Grammar School, Ibadan for the completion of his secondary school education.
Prince Adelani’s progress in business was remarkable as he was daring, when he started in the trade of building materials, where he has made a mark for himself as an astute business. His numerous and remarkable successes are attributed to his humility, diligence, reliability and forthrightness – the reason why his credibility has stood him in good stead thus leading to the laudable award of the most outstanding 1993 entrepreneurship in Osun State by Jaycee International.
Prince Adelani is a philanthropist having contributed in large measure to the development of Ila Orangun his home town, financially and materially, he is a member of Ila Development Committee Council. Happily married with children, his hobbies include lawn tennis, football and travelling. Young Adeoye is a sociable. Member, Club Togetherness, Ila-Orangun, member, Rotrary Club International, member, Gold Club, Osogbo, member, Young Men Christian Association, YMCA, member, Osun State Sports Council and a financier member of Ila Orangun Action Council and 2009-2013 Ajagunnla Day Planning Committee, the committee that built the ultra modern, multi million Naira Palace and Ajagunnla Palace Hall for Orangun of Ila. Prince Adeoye is patron to many clubs and associations.
His exposures have taken him round the whole Nigeria, West East Europe and South America. He is today the Chairman/Chief Executive Adlad (Nigeria) Limited .
A happy and devoted family man, married to Atinuke and the union is blessed with good children.
