His Imperial Majesty Orangun Wahab Oyedotun being assisted by the Olu of Agbowo,  Iwo

It was a day of celebration, gratitude, and renewed commitment to quality healthcare as Peacelife Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics officially relocated to its permanent site, at No 5B, Adewuyi Street,  off Akinlade Road,  Alekuwodo, in Osogbo, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s journey of medical service and community development.

The grand opening and unveiling of the first phase of the newly completed medical facility attracted dignitaries, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and well-wishers from within and outside Osun State.

The historic unveiling ceremony was performed by the revered Orangun of Ila, His Imperial Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Wahab Oyedotun, whose presence added royal splendour and cultural significance to the occasion. The monarch commended the hospital’s management for its vision, dedication, and investment in the health and well-being of the people. Olori Alhaja Ganiyat Oyedotun accompanied Oba Oyedotun.

Also, the Olu of Agbowo, Oba Gbenusola Akande and his wife, Olori Mistura Akande  extolled the virtues of the Medical Director of Peacelife Medical Centre, Dr Obasanjo Adebiyi and prayed for God’s continuous blessings and guidance for the family.

Also present at the event were but not limited to Dr Adebiyi’s mother, Mama Adetutu Adebiyi, his sisters,  Mrs Adesola Adebiyi-Adedeji, a retired School Principal; Mrs Adelekan, Mrs Simbiat Onilude, Prince Adelani Adeoye (Adlad), Mr Segun Ajiboye, Mr Cosmos Adebowale Adebiyi, Mrs Tayo Usman of Datob Catering and Events Management, Omooba Adekunle Adewuyi Adeleke and Mama Kehinde Akintayo who equally testified that Dr Adebiyi and his wife are  “Omoluabi personified”.

The presence of the CMD Ayodele Medical Centre, Dr Adeniyi Adeosun, Dr  Olubukola Ala from Uniosun, Dr Adebimpe Kemi Yusuf, an Endocrinologist; Oluomo Chief Dr Oluseyi Atanda, an IVF Expert; Dr Abayomi Abiodun and the Medical Director of the State Hospital, Asubiaro, Dr Rauf  Opawole gave credence to the event.

Speaking during the event, the Medical Director, Dr Obasanjo L. Adebiyi (MBBS, FWACP Cardiology), expressed profound gratitude to God for making the dream a reality. He noted that the relocation to a permanent site represents a major step forward in the centre’s mission to provide accessible, affordable, and specialist healthcare services to residents of Osogbo and surrounding communities.

According to Dr Adebiyi, the occasion was not only about celebrating infrastructural growth but also about giving back to society. In demonstration of its commitment to community health, the medical centre offered free medical screening and treatment to the first 100 people from the immediate community.

“We are grateful to God for this achievement and deeply appreciate the support, encouragement, and goodwill we have received from elders, friends, patients, and members of the community over the years. This facility is dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes and bringing quality specialist medical services closer to the people,” he said.

Dr Adebiyi concluded that his wife, Abosede, is a blessing and an undeniable gift from God Almighty.  “She is the brain behind all these and I would like all of you to please thank her for me and always remember us in your daily prayers”. He emphasised.

Beneficiaries of the free medical outreach expressed appreciation to the management of Peacelife Medical Centre, describing the initiative as timely and impactful, especially in a period when many citizens face economic challenges that limit access to healthcare.

The new facility is expected to enhance the hospital’s capacity to deliver specialist consultations, diagnostic services, preventive healthcare, and advanced medical treatment in a modern and patient-friendly environment.

As guests toured the newly unveiled structures, many described the project as a landmark investment in healthcare infrastructure within Osun State. They expressed confidence that Peacelife Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics would continue to play a vital role in improving medical services and contributing to the overall development of the state.

The successful unveiling of the first phase of the permanent site stands as a testament to vision, perseverance, and a commitment to saving lives. For residents of Osogbo and beyond, the opening signals a new chapter of hope, healing, and excellence in healthcare delivery.
