Samuel Olabisi Owolabi was born on into the family of Late Pa Elijah Bamikole Ajide Owolabi and Late Mama Abike Esther Ajibola Owolabi nee Oyinloye of Obale’s Compound, Oke-Ila Orangun.
Olabisi Owolabi started his elementary School at SDA Primary School in 1960 at Oke-Ila Orangun. He later attended Adventist Grammar School, Ede between 1969 and 1973, Oyo State College of Education, Ilesa (1979-1982) and University of Ilorin where he studied Integrated Science Education.
His brother, who is The presiding Bishop of FaithTriump Ministry Int. in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, Bishop (Dr.) Felix Owolabi described the late Samuel Olabisi Owolabi as a life modifier and a bridge builder. “He was an amazing human being, an amazing teacher, and an amazing mentor who always motivated me to give my best.” Bishop
Owolabi stressed.
“His leadership, mentorship, and guidance made me a better person. I am going to reminisce about this forever.” Bishop Owolabi concluded
Meanwhile, Rev. Dr. Temitayo Felix Owolabi in her brief address said ” Daddy Samuel Owolabi was a perfect gentleman and everyone saw this in him when he visited us in the United States. It is very hard to bid this final goodbye. He will always be here with us, in our minds.
“He touched so many lives, helped so many people, and made them walk on the right path, the path of wisdom.” Dr. Temitayo Felix Owolabi emphasized.
