The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Alayeluwa Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin, Aragbiji Oba Rasheed Olabomi and Olororuwo Oba ADEREMI Adeyanju on Friday, June Thursday 17, 2022 attended the book launch of Bishop Felix Owolabi, The Presiding Bishop of FaithTriumph Ministries International, Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
The public presentation of the book, titled ‘ Religiosity or Spirituality’ at Ashers Place, Jericho, Ibadan.
Many of Bishop’s old friends from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, his Oke-Ila Club members, families and other well wishers also graced the event.
The Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Abiodun Olatunji, SAN, in his remarks, described Bishop Owolabi as an honest and hardworking clergy whose vision is to see a new Nigeria, free of terrorism, banditry, tribalism, nepotism and the likes.
Orangun Adedokun Abolarin said “Bishop Felix Owolabi is a man of faith and integrity who has played outstanding roles in the development of his home town. Just last week he donated a Hilux Patrol Vehicle to Àmòtékùn Security Outfit in Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun State. May the good Lord multiply a man like him in our nation.” Abolarin stressed.
Aragbiji Oba Rasheed Olabomi in his address described the author of the book, Bishop Felix Owolabi as a Community Developer par Excellence who has not only impacted his immediate community positively but the country at large.
The Chairman of Ifedayo Local Government, Hon. Samuel Idowu Abiodun, eulogized the patriotism of the unassuming Man of God and his wife, Rev. Dr. Mrs. Temitayo Felix Owolabi and prayed for God’s continuous blessings and protection for them.
Barr. Thompson Tabi aka Don Tee, the author’s Special Adviser who came from the United States to attend the occasion, praised Rt. Rev. Owolabi for his faith, integrity, kindness and patriotism. Don Tee said “Bishop and Rev. Dr. Felix Owolabi Foundation is a leading light in the fight against hunger and hopelessness that is ravaging the land.” He added that the book would serve as a useful publication for political, religious and community leaders as well as keen readers.
