In a warm and heartfelt message, the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Senator Ajagunnla Olubiyi Fadeyi, has congratulated Dr. Olarewaju Oyedeji on his conferment as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN)—a recognition regarded as one of the profession’s highest honours.
Dr. Oyedeji, an accomplished financial administrator and respected member of the accounting and taxation community, currently serves as the Bursar of the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, in Katsina State. He previously served with distinction as the Bursar of the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, where his work ethic, transparency, and visionary financial leadership left an enduring legacy.
Senator Fadeyi, in his congratulatory message, described the fellowship conferment as “a well-deserved honour for a man who has consistently demonstrated excellence in financial management, integrity in public service, and unwavering commitment to national development.”

He noted that Dr. Oyedeji’s elevation to the prestigious rank of Fellow not only brings pride to Osun State but also highlights the intellectual richness and professional competence that the Ila-Orangun community continues to contribute to Nigeria’s development.
“Dr. Oyedeji has distinguished himself through diligence, discipline, and an exemplary career. His contributions, both in Osun and at the national level, stand as a model for young professionals in finance and taxation. I celebrate him for bringing honour to Ile Obalumo, Isedo, Ila-Orangun, and to all of us who cherish excellence and integrity in public service,” Senator Fadeyi stated.
The Senator further praised Dr. Oyedeji’s humility, community spirit, and commitment to professional growth, added that the recognition by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria was not only timely but also a reflection of decades of hard work and dedication.
He concluded by praying for greater heights for Dr. Oyedeji as he continues to serve the nation with distinction at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura.
For the people of Ila-Orangun—especially Ile Obalumo—Dr. Oyedeji’s achievement has become another proud moment, reaffirming the community’s legacy of producing trailblazers in academia, finance, and public administration.
