Kunle Adeleke was born on the 13th of June 1971 in Ila Orangun city of Osun State, Nigeria into the royal family of Pa Samuel Ayanda ADELEKE and Madam Josephine Ibirinade ADELEKE, Both teachers and community leaders.
His academic sojourn started with IDC school Odo Ona Elewe Ibadan Oyo State where he completed his elementary education. He attended St Charles’ Grammar School Osogbo between 1982 and 1988 to obtain his secondary school certificate and later proceeded to Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun where he graduated in 1992 with a National Certificate in Education. He also obtained a Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance from Osun State College of Technology Esa Oke. He joined the service of Wema Bank Plc in August 1993.
In a bid to enhance his career opportunities along this path he registered and graduated with an MBA in Finance from University of Ado Ekiti in the year 2002.

Kunle Adeleke rose through the rank from clerical staff to the position of Senior Manager in Business Development saddled with various opportunity enhancement responsibilities for the bank across different business units in Nigeria. As at date Kunle has built a holistic working career spanning over two decades with Wema Bank Plc and has gathered experience in business prospecting and revitalization, Resource management and Relationship management. Nurtured from a background of leaders and front runners, he served the workforce and represented his members in the Financial Sector, rising to the position of the President of Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions, Wema Bank Unit. He served two terms as the Unit President, one term as the First Honorary Secretary of the national body of ASSBIFI, He also served as the Deputy National President 1 of Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI) between year 2016 and 2019.
The banking career took him round the core southwest cities of Nigeria, from Iwo to Oshogbo, later Agodi Ibadan and Iragbiji. He was subsequently transferred to Lagos to manage Oba Akran Branch, and later Maryland Branch, Ebute Metta Branch, Kafi Branch Alausa Ikeja before his deployment to head the Lagos Public Sector Unit of the bank.
He has a passion for Training, Village Evangelism, Youth and Women Empowerment, Leadership Coaching and mentoring of the younger generation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) including Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration.
Kunle Adeleke is married to Ayaba Ronke Adeleke, a Chartered Accountant and Public Servant, their union is blessed with children. His hobbies include reading, writing and travelling.
